Who these terms are with
PicToss is made by Halil Berkay Şahin, trading as TheCodeVolt (“we”). By downloading or using PicToss, you agree to these terms and to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the Standard EULA), which applies to apps from the App Store. These terms add details that are specific to PicToss. Where the two differ, the Standard EULA applies.
What PicToss does
PicToss helps you review your photo library and decide what to delete. It scans on your phone, points out duplicates and other clutter, and keeps your decisions until you act on them.
Deleting is always your call. Swiping left or using quick trash only moves photos to PicToss's trash, where you can undo. Photos are deleted only when you tap Empty trash and confirm the iOS prompt. iOS then keeps them in Recently Deleted for about 30 days, where you can still recover them in the Photos app. Once they leave Recently Deleted, or you delete them from there yourself, they're gone, and we can't bring them back.
If you use iCloud Photos, deleting a photo removes it from every device signed in to your Apple ID.
Duplicate and blur detection can be wrong, so look at a photo before you toss it.
The free version
You can use PicToss for free, with no time limit. The free version includes quick trash for exact duplicates with no daily limit, and 50 swipes a day.
PicToss Pro
PicToss Pro removes the daily swipe limit and unlocks blurry photo, screenshot and big video cleanup. You can buy it two ways:
- Yearly subscription: US$29.99 a year, with a 3-day free trial for new subscribers.
- Lifetime: a one-time purchase of US$49.99. It doesn't renew and stays with your Apple ID.
Outside the US, the App Store sets the price in your local currency and shows it on the purchase screen before you confirm.
How the yearly subscription works
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID when you confirm the purchase, or when the free trial ends.
- The subscription renews automatically for another year unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends.
- Your Apple ID is charged for the renewal within the 24 hours before the current period ends.
- The free trial turns into a paid subscription unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends. If you cancel during the trial, you aren't charged.
- Manage or cancel the subscription in Settings > your name > Subscriptions, or through Manage subscription in PicToss's Settings. Cancelling stops the next renewal, and Pro stays on until the end of the period you've paid for.
- If you buy Pro while a free trial is running, the rest of the trial ends.
- Deleting the app doesn't cancel a subscription.
Restoring and refunds
Purchases belong to your Apple ID. On a new or reset iPhone, sign in with the same Apple ID and tap Restore purchases in PicToss. Apple handles all payments and refunds. To ask for a refund, use reportaproblem.apple.com. We can't issue refunds ourselves.
Your photos stay yours
We claim no rights to your photos or anything else on your phone. PicToss doesn't upload them; the Privacy Policy explains what does leave your phone.
Using PicToss fairly
Don't try to get around the free limit or the purchase system, and don't copy, resell or reverse engineer the app, except where the law allows it.
No guarantees
We work to keep PicToss accurate and reliable, but it's provided “as is”. We can't promise it will always run without errors or find every duplicate. As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for photos you choose to delete with it, so keep a backup of anything you can't afford to lose. Nothing in these terms limits the rights you have under consumer protection law.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms when the app changes. The effective date at the top always shows the current version. If a change matters for Pro subscribers, we'll mention it in the app or on this page before it applies.
